Carol oversees Jubilee’s outpatient and intensive outpatient programs, and she still carries a caseload of her own — she’s not ready to give up the part of this work that drew her in to begin with. She works with people carrying trauma, substance use, depression, anxiety, and the everyday weight of life feeling unmanageable. What she cares about most is helping people get unstuck.

Carol believes healing starts with connection — to ourselves, to each other, to the resources we need, and to something larger than us. She doesn’t come in with a fixed idea of what someone’s life should look like. She’s there to help people find their own footing, their own next right step, and the freedom to actually thrive rather than just get by. In practice, that means drawing on Accelerated Resolution Therapy (advanced level), EMDR, DBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing — whatever fits the person in front of her, not the other way around.

Carol holds a Master’s in Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville and a Master’s in Healthcare Leadership from Wake Forest University, and she is licensed in North Carolina.

Outside of work, Carol spends her time in the garden, with her family, and with her dog close by. She sees tending the land as another form of care — a reminder that stewardship, whether of the earth or the people we love, comes from the same place.
