Lacey Peterson
Peer Support Specialist
Strengthened by her own experiences with trauma and mental health, Lacey’s approach to community care as a peer support specialist is to receive each person exactly where they are at with open arms. Her role at Jubilee is to not only have everyone feel welcomed and valued, but to instill confidence, hope, and joy on their journey towards wellness.
Born from generations of North Carolina farmers, this work and the land are deeply ancestral. She believes that nourishing relationships with the natural world is an ancient conduit of resilience and healing in our relationships with ourselves, others, and our spirituality.
Whether it’s sharing quiet outdoor space during farm time, working through daily challenges, or celebrating a win together, Lacey offers support, companionship, and the understanding of someone who has walked a similar path.
When she’s not at work, she’s sharing her life with her loving partner. She is a mom to her dog, Elmer, and cat, French Toast. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, painting, hiking, listening to live music, and skateboarding!
